5. How can your major make the world a better place?
Hello dear bloggers, this time I will tell you how the career I study can improve a little the mute in which we are today. In case you did not read my previous blogs, I study dentistry at the University of Chile, I am in my second year, how dentistry can change the world, this is a question I asked myself before entering the career, logically without knowing anything of what I would learn in these 2 years and I answered myself saying that we could contribute by improving the health of patients, improve their confidence and self-esteem by helping them to improve their smile and that would make the world a better place. I was not really that lost in what I answered myself, but I focused on the dentist who only fixes teeth, but the dentist can contribute to society in many ways, not only in the practical and that is where I was wrong in my answer.
