2. Why did I choose my major
hello everyone:
When I was little I wanted to do many things, I wanted to be a teacher, a painter, a doctor, a veterinarian, a nurse, a rescue worker, a fireman and a dentist, but as you get older you realize that not everything is the way you imagined it as a child.
I discarded veterinarian because it made me very sad to think that an animal could die; I also discarded being a fireman and a rescue worker because it implied doing a lot of sports and being agile, qualities that aren't very developed in me. Among the options I had left, being a teacher was the least similar among them, although I was always interested in working with children, I also discarded it because it didn't convince me 100% and so I only had in mind careers in the health area, all of them called my attention but medicine was my favorite.
Since first half I focused on being a doctor, I studied hard, I was very clear that this was my dream and I was going to get it, but by fate and maybe the nerves also played against me, I didn't reach the score to enter medicine, in my options wasn't to take a year to return to prepare the test as it was very stressful and I didn't want to go through that again, then it was when I remembered that dentistry was also one of my dream careers and met all my expectations and decided to apply.
Now I am in my second year of dentistry and I am very happy with my decision, I'm not going to lie, it hasn't been easy, but meeting my group of friends has been the best thing that happened to me last year, I feel that without them everything would be more difficult, so I am grateful to have them.

I can't stand to see pets die either. I think you made a good decision by studying dentistry.
